These are the answers to my question.
1: Oxygen: Oxygen helps us because it is a part of the air that we breathe. Our body uses oxygen to create the energy it needs to carry on through to living such as walking, thinking, and breathing. Without oxygen, life would come to an end in less than 10 minutes.
2: Carbon: Carbon helps us by giving us energy. Like when we eat food, there is carbon inside the food and that
is where we get our energy from so we can move and do stuff. Without energy, we would all be lazy and tired.
3: Hydrogen: The human body needs hydrogen because the body needs to be hydrated and the body needs water. The body is mostly made up of water and water is made up of two two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. So, right there you know that without hydrogen you have no water, and without water, there is no life!
4: Nitrogen: Nitrogen is an important part of our bodies. Amino acids in our body all contain nitrogen and these are the building blocks that make up the proteins in your hair, muscles, skin and other important tissues. Nitrogen is an important part of your DNA, which defines what you are like in many ways.
5: Calcium: Calcium is a mineral that is necessary for life. Although it helps our body build bones and keeping them healthy, calcium helps our blood clot, nerves send messages and muscles contract . About 99% of the calcium in our bodies is in our bones and teeth.
6: Phosphorus: Phosphorus helps filter out waste in the kidneys and plays an essential role in how the body stores and uses energy.
